As a Product Owner at Trusted Shops, you are accountable for maximizing the value of the product. Together with around a dozen other Product Owners, you drive the value of your product, and the value of the entire product portfolio.
You have a firm foundation on the product and provide vision, approach, and planned execution. You carry the ownership of the product in terms of quality and delivery as per the expectations you aligned with your peers and management.
Your approach is firmly rooted in customer-centricity. You seek out and amplify the voice of the customer, and leverage it as a driving factor in the product development. You understand that getting a win for the customer, goes hand in hand with getting a win for the business, and continuously seek to satisfy both.
In general, a Product Owner is responsible for delivering value to their users. Each Product Owner has the liberty to figure out which activities best help them do that.
Your responsibilities
- Creating a product vision with a defined set of ideas to reach your goals
- Elaborating a way to evaluate ideas with- and get inspiration from your users
- Managing a prioritised backlog with clear description of requested functionality
- Defining a set of personas and customer problems to be tackled
- Generating transparent product documentation and rollout time lines
- Precising a concept for tracking the product usage to display product KPIs
- Mapping stakeholders and a way to gather stakeholder feedback and buy-in
- Developing a monetization strategy for your product
- You can quickly gauge product risks and actively look for ways to mitigate them
- You come along with a pronounced technical understanding for software products
- You use user research and insights to back up your product development
- You have multiple years of experience as a Product Manager and/or Product Owner
- You collaborate based on mutual respect
- Excellent communication skills, to bring your team and its stakeholders to the same page
- You stay focused on the big goals, and go the extra mile to bring everyone there
- You drive good decisions, also through assisting others to reach one
- Fluency in English is a must, in German a plus
