We are looking for an experienced Internal Control Specialist (f/m/d) for our rapidly growing team in Berlin or fully remote!
In this role you will be responsible for the internal control framework. You will design, drive, implement and continuously improve efficient and effective procedures and processes across the group.
- Subject matter expert for the Internal Control System (ICS) framework and methodology
- Design, drive, implement and continuously improve efficient and effective procedures and processes across the Group
- Monitor the efficiency of the Internal Control System (testing)
- Train the first line of defense, identify potential areas of improvement, and maintain communication channels to the stakeholders
- Participate in or lead ICS projects
- Support the Chief Risk Officer in all risk related matters
- 4-6 years’ hands on design and implementation experience of Internal Controls in an Insurance is required
- Sound experience with running or auditing an Internal Control System
- Profound know how of the ICS methodology (COSO)
- SOX experience is an advantage
- Independent and self motivated way of working
- A good team player
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory
- Very good communication skills and a persistent personality
