The Go-to-Market team helps to identify market trends and meet the demands of our customers by identifying the leading partners that we should be working with, helping them upskill on Azure, and conducting marketing and sales activities that generate new and innovative projects and software applications. We collaborate closely with different teams at Microsoft Germany, focusing on the technologies and business needs necessary to drive Application Innovation topics. We focus both on growing opportunities to develop the application portfolios within large, enterprise accounts while increasing thought leadership in the professional developer audience in Germany.
- Engage a targeted community of cloud native app development partners with compelling value propositions of how they might grow their businesses on Azure.
- Refresh and modernize our cloud native partner community model in partnership with our developer audience team.
- Manage community-driven events focused on technical and business development for the partner ecosystem.
- Work with the cloud native recruiting team to transition partners beyond their first steps working with Microsoft to a sustainable and collaborative business model.
- Work with the developer audience team to engage partners in joint marketing activities, including 3rd party events.
- You are a curious person that wants to learn from others and helps other to learn and grow.
- Ideally first professional (1-3 years) experience in customer or partner facing role with a focus on software development and community building.
- Good general understanding of software development, current trends and market insights.
- Ability to translate insights into clear actions.
- Familiarity with open source tools, developer topics and/or good understanding of the developer audience in Germany, or willingness to learn.
- Experience in community building, event organization, social media, and the creation of modern marketing campaigns.
- Comfortability with an agile work environment and openness to experiment.
- High degree of personal responsibility, accuracy, and organization skills.
- Business fluency in English and German, spoken and written.
