Ambrosys is a young and dynamic company with a strong research and development profile. Our work is focused on artificial intelligence/data science and according software development. Topics are mobility, energy, complex systems. The development includes classical programming in Python, C++, Scala, Javascript/Typescript, in AI we use existing frameworks together with our own development. We develop own products for AI and mobility.

For our development team in our office in Potsdam (near Berlin, Germany) we are looking for a motivated Scala Developer (m/f/d):

You will be working in an agile team on a big data application in the automotive industry using Scala and the Spark framework.

The tech stack also includes Kafka, Cassandra and Postgres.
Your qualifications

Proficiency in functional programming with Scala with a strong software engineering background (3 years minimum requirement).

Proven knowledge in data wrangling and relational databases.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics with advanced degrees preferred.

German language (C2 level) is a must for the project.

Hands-on experience with docker and kubernetes is a plus.
