We are looking for a highly motivated Software Test Engineer who joins our team in the development and maintenance of a next generation cross-platform video conferencing software. Keeping the test cases up to date and creating new test cases whenever needed in direct communication with the developers. Managing the regular regression test on all the operating systems and different devices and test yourself on as many different devices as possible. You will continuously improve the testing process and will help to develop the department to more automated testing. As usual in an agile working place, self-organizing is necessary.
Your Role
- Testing new features in a continuous integration environment
- Perform manual testing for our video conference software on iOS, android, Linux, Mac and Windows
- Perform manual testing in our web app in various browsers
- Create new test cases and improve existing test cases
- Develop our testing department towards automated testing
- Regression testing
- Coordination with customer support and help investigate various support cases
- First experiences in testing and automated testing
- First experiences with bug trackers
- You are passionate about PC hardware and software
- You have a keen eye for details
- You are able to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
- You have the ability to communicate in English in a technical way on a daily basis
- You participated and filed reports for alpha/beta programs – nice to have
